I have two wonderful sons, Dave and Kev, of whom I am very proud with two terrific daughters-in-law, Anna and Hailey. Dave and Anna have given me two beautiful granddaughters, Dylan and Alaina. My significant other is Iohn (pronounced 'Jon'). I suffer from chronic classic cluster headaches. The effects vary widely causing various problems. Statistically, cluster headaches affect only 0.1% of the population. Of that small number 97% have episodic clusters and may be pain free for weeks, months even years. The remaining 3%, of which I am a part, have the chronic variety that never allows relief. The statistics reflect only about 9,000 people, mostly men, have chronic clusters in the United States of America. Most people have no clue I am suffering, in pain or sick. To the world I look perfectly healthy. I do my best to ignore and go on with life. There are days, however, in spite of my best efforts, I can't hide it.
