Xila Broadband Now Ivy Resellers

Dugger, IN

Mark Ivy, owner of Ivy Web Services, announced today the acquisition of the Xila Broadband Wholesale DSL and VoIP Reseller Program. The program will be run and administered as Ivy Resellers.

As noted by Chad Hawkins, president of the Xila Telecom Group, “You can expect for the things you loved about Xila Broadband (like BACC and reliable nationwide DSL) to remain the same while customer service and other important elements of the program will improve.”

Ivy Web Services began in 1995 as VIP Consultants marketing telecommunications products (home service and long distance) as well marketing internet advertising sites. VIP Consultants gave way to Ivy Web Services in 2001 as the business moved on to other avenues. Ivy Web Services branched into web hosting that year and launched Ivy Web Host. In 2003, internet access was added giving birth to Ivy ISP. Ivy Site Design came along a short time later. In 2009, once again the company expanded into wireless telephone services as Ivy Cellular. Today we offer DSL and VoIP services under one simple reseller program as Ivy Resellers, with one provisioning and billing system.

Mark Ivy stated, “From day one we've involved our clients in every major decision we make and plan to continue this practice.”

Watch for a Major Announcement

Ivy Web Services will be making a major announcement later today. Keep watching for this dramatic and life-altering announcement. There has been a shake up in the web services world!

As June Closes

As June moves closer to its end and the first half of 2010 falls behind us, this overcast Monday is time for pause and reflection. Has the bottom finally been hit? Will it only be uphill from this point onward?

Our day to day existence in the cornfield, in the Den, continues to be plagued with uncertainty. The struggle to survive becomes more ferocious. Yet, in spite of or to spite the upheavals and hardships, we are managing to survive. It is only possible because of celestial intervention. There is no other explanation. It would seem God has performed a miracle for us, albeit not the one we envisioned or asked.

We are on the brink not knowing what tomorrow, the next hour may portend. We can only do as Paul told the Ephesians. When you have done all to stand, stand.

The light that has so long remained hidden from view by the clouds is faintly breaking. A slight flicker appears and disappears. Hope remains...although that hope is weak...it remains.

As June closes...we hang on...

What Is Best for All?

Monday morning and questions persist in the Den. It is hot, muggy and sticky outside. Inside the air conditioner is keeping things cool. But a fire still rages inside of my being.

Kev's and Hailey's wedding is just a little over a month away. The wedding is in Austin, Texas. Iohn is slated to be an usher. Our room has been booked. Mom paid for the room in exchange for my keyboard and stand.

But...I am wondering...if the solution to our dilemma is in another direction. Iohn is 23 and has a lot of years ahead of him. He has a job that seems to be more secure this week than a little over a week ago. Question is am I holding him back? Am I saddling him with too much? He can make it no matter what I am sure. He could easily find a place to live, more so without me.

Perhaps the best course of action is for me to disencumber Iohn from the financial obligations and me move on down the highway into oblivion. Let Iohn find a place to stay, keep his job and move on with his life without having to worry about me.

He can survive and will probably prosper without an albatross like me hung around his neck. He can survive. He has proved it before and I have confidence in him and his ability to be resilient.

What to do? What to do? What is best for all?

Sunday - Descisions to Be Made

First, to get it out of the way, to all fathers out there a wish for a most enjoyable and well-spent Father's Day. You don't usually get the credit you deserve.

On this 20th day of June, this Father's Day Sunday, I sit in the Den knowing that decisions need to be made. Decisions that will affect both Iohn and I. The decisions also may have implications and effects on others as well.

At this stage, it appears whether we want to or not, we are being forced to make a move. When to make the move is the question. Should we move this week or wait another week? That's the big question. Other questions involve where to move exactly, what job prospects for Iohn will be like and where they will be best. Question of whether to pretty much go out of business or put business on hold for a few weeks. The hosting and ISP can continue with little impact. As to the cellular...that's another story.

Should we rent a storage shed and move what we know we can't take? Should we just leave those items behind where they are? Should we go without a word or should we consult and go first?

It's at the point where to go or not to go is not an issue. It's pretty much settled that the choice has been taken from us and we must go.

Yep, it's Sunday and there are decisions to be made.
