Drinkers either don't get it or refuse to get it. Drinkers don't realize that what comes out of their mouths while imbibing quite often reveal their true thoughts, opinions, feelings. Often they even forget what they have said. They also fail to accept or acknowledge that these words spoken while in an alcohol-induced daze can have very real impact and very tearing injury to other parties.

The old saying goes that sticks and stones my break my bones, but words will never hurt me. It sounds good in theory, but in practicality it doesn't hold water. Ask any school child harassed, humiliated and derided by fellow classmates if the words do not hurt. Ask those teens, adults and seniors in therapy about the damage that words have and do cause.

Drinking words aren't just words. Drinking words in most instances are revelations of the hidden. If drinkers ever accept this will it change anything? It is doubtful. But drinkers need to acknowledge that drinking words can hurt.

If you are going to drink either have nothing to keep hidden that you do not wish to be brought to light or accept the consequences of what springs forth from the sub-conscious and the impact it may have on your relationships.

To spite my previous post or perhaps there was indeed divine intervention, I sit here in the Den this very beautiful, climate-near-perfect morning typing away.

The struggle goes on to stay above the water line. The floods of an economic tsunami still threaten to pull me under and yet, for now, I continue to dog paddle my way through the swirling eddys and trans-navigate the sinkholes.

The new cellular product, TruCel™, languishes waiting implementation. The big roll out was suppose to have been nearly a month ago, but is still in dry dock. In the meantime, while the provisioner gets all the eggs in one basket, it is perfect time for recruitment of dealers. For more information on TruCel™, visit Ivy Cellular.

Entrepreneurs, ISPs, business people for an opportunity that is real and can produce tangible results, there is perhaps no better offering than that offered through Ivy Resellers. You can be your own ISP and VoIP (digital phone) provider within a couple of hours.

Ivy Web Services may soon be offering for sale to the public desktops and laptops at very competitive rates. Keep checking back for the announcement if and when we become an authorized dealer for JAK Computers out of Pearl City, IL.

For now, the struggle goes on.

Original post blogged on Marks Den.

Down to Final Option

Today is the deadline. The line has been drawn in the sand. The Rubicon is about to be crossed. I am left with no choice, but to invoke the final option. Unless...that is...a miracle, an angel knocks on the door. I have gone as far as I can go with the situation as it is. I have coped and dealt as much as is humanly possible. Only divine intervention can stay what must be today. I stare into the abyss with abandonment it seems.

It was inevitable that this day, this time should arrive. I grasped, clutched, clawed at what few shimmers of hope remained, but it seems to no avail. Now on this second Sunday in August of 2010 that I have run out of rope, ran out of will, ran out of options, save the final option.

Will there be singing and dancing in the streets, in the cornfield? Will there be silent resignation that what must be was unavoidable and necessary? Will there be sighs of relief that it is finally over? Will there be any tears or any expressions of sorrow?

How does one face what is when one is down to the final option? It is not easy, but I must remain resolute. I must remain strong to see it through. For there is no other avenue left for me to traverse. I am down to the final option.

Will God intervene in time? Will God let be what must be? Will God reward my hope, my faith, my struggle? Or has God already spoken in volumes that there is but one option?

Original post blogged on Marks Den.
